She is a gentle natured mare that is a quick & keen learner, easy to handle and has lovely movement. She responds very well to a soft and gentle approach and mainly used as a broodmare within our stud. She has been ridden - basic trail riding and Light Horse work/training with the 2nd/14th QMI Troop, based at Enoggera Barracks. 4yo - Waler x mare 14.3hh. Cooper is a lovely young horse who has been bred on our farm and raised in a herd environment. She has been backed and ridden out and is looking for a sympathetic rider to make her their own. She has done some stockwork, bush trails and been ridden out in company. She works well off your leg. Has been mouthed and ridden with bit, however mostly ridden in a light rider bitless bridle and goes very well in this. Cooper can execute basic lateral moves, basic canter leads, a good stop and back-up. She is a very easy keeper and has smooth easy to sit paces which make for a very comfortable ride. She is a very willing and responsive mare. She needs some-one who is able to continue her education and is patient when introducing her to new objects. Cooper is settling down well and will make the right person a wonderful riding horse. Suited to a variety of disciplines. She would make a good 2nd horse and is not suited to novice as she requires a person who has a good seat and is able to isolate their reins. Competent at one rein stops.
